From Grace Jones and Mary Wollstonecraft to Pharaoh Hatshepsut and Wang Zhenyi, their experiences of racism, sexism, motherhood, illness and war have helped me navigate life. I hope they can help you, too.
Through a blend of memoir and cultural reflection, I explore how these figures can help us better understand ourselves and the lives we want to lead.

our heartlands,
our bloodlines, motherlands, interconnections, our purpose and our past lives.
